Botanical Walk

Guided tour of the gardens to learn about different species, led by the landscape architecture studio Topiaris
Planned and designed by Topiaris, the gardens of the former eighteenth-century Quinta de São João were refurbished according to the original design. The aim was to preserve the existing elements, such as mature trees, shrubs and protected species. Whenever possible vegetation was transplanted, always according to sustainability principles conducive to easy maintenance, conservation of the botanical heritage and low-impact paving.
