Drawing class focused on objects of the collection

In partnership with Ar.Co – Centro de Arte & Comunicação Visual

Starting from live observation of porcelain pieces from the exhibition Connections, participants will explore drawing techniques using graphite and watercolour. By observing the form and volume of selected objects, they will create observational drawings employing line and graphite shading. The application of watercolour will follow, allowing for an exploration of colour and the tonalities found in ceramic paintings.

Through drawing, it becomes possible to observe not only aspects related to the form and volume of the objects, but also to gain insight into the unique stories and symbolic elements present on their surfaces.
