HongBao Workshop
Workshop that explores the creation of hongbaos: Chinese red envelopes for prospective
We can offer more than objects: we can offer intentions, wishes, and gestures. The hongbao is an envelope, but it is also a symbol of sharing, care, and transition.
In this family workshop, we explore the creation of hongbaos through drawing, colour, and engraving, using our hands to think and imagine. What we choose to print, fold, and decorate becomes a message, even when it is not written.
Between graphic experimentation and the discovery of a cultural tradition, we transform the act of creating into an act of giving. A meeting place where sight, texture, and shared time make visible what we wish to offer others with attention, intention, and imagination, in a creative moment to be experienced as a family.
