Japanese Tea Ceremony
A unique experience inviting participants to immerse themselves in the Japanese tea ceremony, with Nuno Veiga
A unique experience led by Master Nuno Veiga, offering an immersion into Japanese tradition through the tea ceremony, focused on the preparation and tasting of matcha, the powdered green tea so highly valued in Japanese culture. The tea ceremony is much more than simply drinking tea; it is a practice that combines art, harmony, and mindfulness. During the experience, participants observe and learn each step of the ritual, from arranging the utensils to the careful preparation of the matcha and the proper way to appreciate it.
This ancient ritual invites contemplation and a connection with the present moment, promoting respect, courtesy, and tranquillity. By taking part, participants experience the intense and creamy flavour of traditionally prepared matcha while appreciating the refined aesthetics and philosophy behind this centuries-old practice.
