The foundation is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. However, ticket sales close at 5:30 pm. We recommend arriving by 4.30 pm so that you can enjoy your visit at your leisure.

Free entry on Sundays is exclusively for residents of the municipality of Sintra until 1 pm (upon presentation of proof of address when purchasing the ticket).

Yes, you can buy your ticket by clicking here. For this procedure, you will be charged 6% + VAT for operating costs. After making the purchase, you will receive a digital ticket in pdf format in the associated email. This must be presented at the box office to enter the exhibitions.

No. Admission is free for one (1) accompanying person of a visitor with disability.

Yes, the foundation has a paid parking lot with capacity for 25 vehicles. The parking lot is located at Rua de Ourives, no. 30. It only accepts payment by card or cash.

Pets are welcome on a leash in the outdoor areas. Pets are not allowed in the exhibition space, store, library and restaurant, with the exception of duly identified guide dogs.

No. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the foundation’s exhibition spaces and interiors.

Yes, guided tours can be booked for groups from 5 to 20 people and must be booked 10 days in advance. You can access the booking form here. If you’re not with a group, you can visit the foundation and clarify your doubts with one of our mediation assistants.
