Studio Ēeme

About the Artist

Located in the suburbs of Lisbon, Studio Ēeme designs and produces ceramics of a meditative and timeless nature with a focus on lighting and sculpture. Themes such as fertility, movement and tenderness are central to the work and creative process of its founder, Marie-Laure Davy. 

Meditation, writing and dance set the rhythm of the studio’s creative process, taking shape in clay through gentle gestures and intuitive forms. Marie-Laure Davy studied ceramics at Ar.Co, in Portugal, after attending dance and model drawing classes for over ten years while pursuing a career in advertising in New York. She founded studio Ēeme in 2022.
