About the Artist

Wolkje’s objects transcend their functional roles (as mugs, candleholders or sculptures) to become personal companions, each with their own personality and name, inviting us to share our humour, thoughts and secrets.  

Through her work, the ceramist CC seeks to offer warmth and a feeling of connection by turning everyday ceramics into something that is profoundly intimate and alive. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, CC lives and works in Lisbon since 2018.
