Architecture as Mediation: between memory, landscape and transformation
As part of the 2026 European Heritage Days, the Albuquerque Foundation is hosting a tour dedicated to architecture as a form of mediation between what already exists, contemporary intervention, landscape and new uses.
Led by mediator Renata Madeira and architect Heloisa Vivanco, the tour invites participants to consider how architecture brings together memory and transformation, creating relationships between place, the collection, its audiences and the community. A reflection on what we preserve, adapt and reinvent for the future.
