A workshop and tour for kids and families
In this workshop and tour for families, participants are invited to explore the symbolic and aesthetic universe of Chinese fans, discovering their presence in East Asian art and culture. Using the materials provided, each person will have the chance to try simple watercolour techniques and other decorative approaches to create their own fan.
The activity offers a moment of creativity and contemplation, bringing together gesture, colour, and meaning around this delicate object steeped in history.
