Project presentation: Seeds by Maya Kempe

Event

08.11 — 15.11.2025

Presentation of an ongoing research project in dialogue with the foundation’s garden

Maya Fernandes Kempe presents a sculptural ensemble of ceramic seeds, the result of a process of research and field observation, which includes three seeds from plants found in the garden of the Albuquerque Foundation.

Through walking, collecting, and magnifying, Maya transforms the invisible into the poetic, revealing the abstract beauty that emerges when nature is observed under the microscope.

On November 8 and 15, at 3 pm, the artist will present the project in two public conversations. Seeds will be on view during the period between the two events.
