About Dárida Rodrigues
Dárida Rodrigues is a Portuguese-Brazilian artist and researcher based in Portugal. Her practice brings together sound, image, word and gesture through audiovisual installations and performances, exploring liminal states, speculative fabulation and the relationships between body, culture, nature and media.
She is the creator of Lab Onírico, an artistic research project developed as part of the PhD in Performing Arts and Moving Image at FBAUL, supported by an FCT scholarship. The project explores dreams as a space for collective creation, bringing together audiovisual and sensory practices, oracular readings and fabulation, in dialogue with different cosmologies and forms of knowledge. It includes Fórum dos Sonhos, a participatory gathering and performance presented in Lisbon, Stockholm (2024) and Berlin (2025).
