Kinusaiga Workshop: Textile Composition
Textile art workshop using the Japanese Kinusaiga technique
Kinusaiga is a Japanese textile art technique developed in the 1980s, which uses small pieces of fabric to create compositions combining different colours, patterns and textures.
In this workshop at the Albuquerque Foundation, participants will be introduced to the technique and learn how to cut and fit fabric pieces into a pre-marked design, creating their own textile composition.
