Silk Embroidery: Flying on a silk thread, with Catarina Tudella

At the heart of this workshop lies silk and the journey it has taken to the present day. Participants are invited to explore the world of hand embroidery through an immersion in the Silk Road and its cultural influences.

In an inspiring setting provided by a 17th-century Chinese textile panel from the Qing dynasty, part of the Foundation’s collection, participants will have the opportunity to create a small piece of silk-thread embroidery.

All the materials required for the workshop will be provided by the instructor.
